Before administering antihemophilic factor (recombinant),
tell your doctor and pharmacist if you have ever had a reaction to an antihemophilic factor or if you are allergic to any drugs. tell your doctor and pharmacist what prescription and nonprescription medications you are taking, especially aminocaproic acid (Amicar), anticoagulants ('blood thinners') such as warfarin (Coumadin), corticosteroids (e.g., prednisone), cyclophosphamide (Cytoxan), cyclosporine (Neoral, Sandimmune), heparin or low-molecular-weight heparin (Lovenox, Normiflo), interferon alfa (Roferon-A, Intron), vincristine (Oncovin), vitamin K, and other vitamins. tell your doctor if you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding. If you become pregnant while taking antihemophilic factor (recombinant), call your doctor. if you are having surgery, including dental surgery, tell the doctor or dentist that you are taking antihemophilic factor (recombinant), before any surgeries or procedures.
